Psychological testing and diagnosis are central to Dr. Gallagher’s practice. In addition to the testing that she performs in the forensic arena, Dr. Gallagher is available to employers, other mental health professionals and community members in order to clarify difficult diagnostic questions in both children and adults. These may include:
- Differential diagnosis
- Intellectual (IQ) testing
- Special education needs/qualification
- Gifted and talented program needs/qualification
- Treatment amenability
- Suicide/homicide risk
Dr. Gallagher does not accept insurance payments, though such evaluations may subsequently qualify for insurance reimbursement. Please be aware that if Dr. Gallagher is hired to complete a psychological assessment outside of the legal arena, the ethics of her profession preclude her use as a forensic expert witness in any subsequent legal proceedings.
